Writing this book has been such a blessing to me. I hope this book will be a blessing to those who read it as well. I have loved writing for as long as I can remember, and I want to use the abilities God has given me for His honor and glory.
I almost surprised myself by starting to write Journey of Grace, my first book. I hadn’t expected to take on such a big project, at least not until I was older. Ideas kept coming together so quickly, however, that before I knew it, I had the basic storyline for this book and began writing as fast as I could! Shortly after starting, I got quite sick for two weeks, which afforded me many hours to write. Within five weeks, I had completed the first draft of the book. I hope and pray that this book may encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ to let Jesus be their Master in everything, and to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” (See 2 Peter 3:18.)
This is a fictional story. Not every Christian is called to live the life which Grace Evans asks God for. There are some who may be in a situation similar to that of Grace in the opening chapters. Just remember: God has people in all different walks of life, and He may have you where you are for a very special reason. May we all follow our Lord wherever He leads us! To God be all the glory!
